    When does a contract for sale become binding??
    A A contract for sale becomes binding when it has been executed by both parties, exchanged and some form of deposit paid.

    When am I required to pay stamp duty?
    AStamp duty is payable within 30 days of completing your purchase.

    If the stamp duty payable is not paid within the 30 day period, substantial penalties may be imposed by the Revenue Commissioners.
